JOB OPENING: Commis Chef / Demi Chef De Partie
Job Responsibilities:
· To assist Chef for smooth day to day operations of the Department.
· Ensure Smooth Kitchen Operation and Food served are of consistent quality at all times.
· Ensure that all Food are prepared and served in a timely manner.
· Prepare ingredients and food items accordingly to recipes.
· Minimize the wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items.
· Check that quantity of item ordered are received and stored in proper condition.
· Manage and maintain the hygiene standards established.
· Other ad-hoc duties as requested.
Job Requirements:
· Candidate must possess at least 1 to 2 years relevant experience in cuisines & fine dining;
· Must have completed Basic Food Hygiene course;
· Possess a strong sense of initiative;
· Manage and maintain sanitation and hygiene standards;
· Willing to learn and adapt to various line positions with locations;
· Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
